Google: Ice Cream Sandwiches are Great Beginnings reshuffle Android
Latest version of the Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich has been officially introduced and became an integral part of the latest smartphone Galaxy Nexus.
Google as the owner of the Android operating system will reportedly use the Ice Cream Sandwiches for the next few years. No wonder indeed, considering the latest Android platform is there a lot of big changes.
As stated by Hugo Barra, Director of Product Management for Android, said that the Ice Cream Sandwich is a major reshuffle of the Android platform, and one that brings a new level in terms of operability of the user into the operating system.
"Even before we completed the Honeycomb, designed specifically for the tablet, we have decided to take a step back and figure out what users want from Android," said Hugo Barra
"We learned a lot from the various interactions and it is data that we use to rethink the face of Android. Ice Cream Sandwich is the first step in the process of rethinking Android for two to three years ahead," he continued.
With a variety of major changes, the Ice Cream Sandwich was attended by offering a number of new features.
