This is the first iPhone from Apple which was a major success in sales, ok it only has 2G but is still a very good smartphone indeed. This phone has been discontinued but we thought we would show you the specifications anyway (good to compare it to the 3G version hey). Please check out all the specs and features below.


Battery
 - The standard Li-Ion battery will give you up to 250 hours standby time and up to 8 hours talk-time.

Camera
- The Apple iPhone 2G has a 2 megapixel camera with 1600x1200 pixels, the major downside is that it does
   not have video or secondary camera.

Data Features
- You will find on this phone GPRS, EDGE plus Wi-Fi 802.11b/g (WLAN), Bluetooth version 2.0 (headset
   support only) and USB version 2.0.

Display
- You will get a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 16-million colours and 320 x 480 pixels. Other
   features include: Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, Scratch-resistant surface
   and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Size and Weight
- The iPhone 2G weighs 135 grams and is 115 x 61 x 11.6mm in size.

- The Apple iPhone uses 2G network - GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900

Memory Features
- The iPhone 2G phonebook has near enough unlimited entries and fields plus Photocall, it is capable of
   receiving 100 received/missed and dialled calls. This phone comes with 4, 8 or 16 GB internal memory
   (No Card Slot).

Sound
- This phone comes with MP3 ringtones, plus downloadable polyphonic ringtones and also features vibration.
   The speakerphone is reasonable and comes with 3.5mm headset jack
